Go blog!

It is no surprise how much success blogs have received over the recent years, it empowers people to express their interests however they like. The idea of a blog is to give freedom to the bloggers and take power away from the corporations so the bloggers can put their relentless logic to good use.

Often the darkest and most sought after secrets aren't found on a "controlled blog", they are rather found under hidden forums and lesser known blogs. When one sees Wal-Mart marketing blogs, one is left to wonder if Wal-Mart is running a controlled blog. Aside from my growing distrust for the "Times", I see this as a mere attempt from another faceless corporation to reach out to the consumer.

Neighborhood blogs are especially appealing these days due to the fact that you can remain anonymous, yet contribute vastly for your community. In this example a combination of honesty and a little misplaced expertise made another community more manageable. Blog is a powerful tool in the game of politics. Often people are willing to give unfiltered and deeply honest opinions on politics. This brings us closer to being in each other's shoes.

I agree with your comments on the neighborhood blog. Its my hope that what will eventually start out as anonymous posting may persuade people to actually meet their neighbors face-to-face.
